McMILLAN, JUDGE The appellant, David Lee Briggs, Jr., was indicted by a Houston County grand jury for arson in the first degree,
in violation of § 13A-7-41, Code of Alabama (1975). The appellant was found guilty in a jury trial of the offense
charged, and was sentenced to a term of ten years' imprisonment and was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $15,393.43.
